Celebrating Italian Language & Culture Through Librissimi!
At YCDSB-ItaliaLinguaCultura, we are thrilled to highlight the incredible participation of many students in the Librissimi Italian Bookwriting Contest, an initiative that promotes Italian literacy, creativity, and a love for reading among young learners.
This exciting program, organized by the Librissimi Italian Canadian Bookfair in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Toronto (Educational Office), encourages students to engage with Italian literature in dynamic and interactive ways. As a key liaison, Italia Lingua Cultura helped connect schools, educators, and students to this enriching opportunity, reinforcing our commitment to advancing Italian language education in Ontario.

Celebrating Italian Cinema and Culture Through ICFF Youth!
Italia Lingua Cultura is proud to have facilitated the participation of over 200 students from four York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) schools in ICFF Youth 2025 – an exciting initiative that brings Italian language and culture to life through cinema.
In collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Toronto (Educational Office) and ICFF Youth, this project provided students with immersive opportunities to engage with contemporary Italian films, fostering both language skills and cultural appreciation. As the liaison between schools and organizers, Italia Lingua Cultura helped bridge connections to make this enriching experience possible.
